I began painting at the age of 60 out of curiosity. Pen first. Then paint. The risk of ruining the paper became part of the draw. Several creations don't survive, and then, one does.

Art captures my curiosity, pushing imperfection, funky lines and offbeat colors, to create something unexpectedly strong.

I became an artist when I thought I was too old, too busy, or too late, and confident enough to make a mess in public, especially in front the people I love the most.So thank you for looking, purchasing or even just politely nodding. I hope you find something that you love.

Turning 60 was momentous. Children out in the world, new home completed, and a job that I love. Suddenly, watercolor became the best surprise of my life.
